 The streets are alive!

The streets are alive with visual stories wherever you go. I've never managed to get a photo of a fox (there is always time!) but there are certain animals whose lives were born on the streets. Pigeons are a city staple and also there are those little rodents. Rodents are very secretive and don't reveal themselves very often. It is part of their job description as a city rodent to remain 'under cover' in order to preserve their food sources and their own personal safety. Certainly they are usually too quick to photograph successfully!

As for people - well you've got some that are on the streets doing a job, some that are in costume that look like they're doing a job and those that interact with the street via their surroundings (including graffiti). Some people are in their own world and don't realise the quirkiness of what is around them. I notice that most city people are very absorbed in their own thoughts. Perhaps they feel that they are subject to the same job description conditions of our rodent friends?
