The brief was to design a simple poster for a special Mothering Sunday service at a local church.

• Make the design eye catching (it will be also exhibited on the street)
• Use a feminine reference

I decided to use my own hand painted background in order to convey warmth, vitality and a beautiful delicacy, synonymous with perceptions of a mother figure. The organic nature of the font was chosen to complement this and altogether communicating femininity.
